An Ocean’s Breadth

18 years and not a single comment - very sad. There’s some excellent music on this CD, including some very fine original compositions, and that’s not something I say very often. Virtuoso accordion and concertina playing, and a fine singer, to boot.

I very much agree! Particularly loved his version of Shiftin’ Gravel (also known as the Morning Nightcap). There’s some videos of an extraordinary set from Solas, where they play The Stride Reel together, they each do a tune each and then come back together for Bird In The Tree. Outstanding!
