Nice CD. Tunes arn’t blindingly fast like some bands tend to play them. Very easy listening.

“Matt Cranitch: Give It Shtick”

I love these recordings, so, not only recommending his tutor “The Irish Fiddle Book”, but also these two recordings he produced to accompany it, this and “Take a Bow”, a joy… 🙂

That said, I still have to upgrade from the cassettes to the CDs… One at a time, including the first of three, his ‘demonstration’ recording… Our cassettes are showing their wear…

Matt Cranitch: “Give It Shtick” & “Take a Bow” - available here too

“Irish Session Tunes: The Red Book” - the accompanying CD features tracks from both recordings…

“Give it Shtick” = “The Red Book” ~ the CDs & the tracks

Re: Give It Shtick

I added a third tune at the track 13 as “Brennan’s favourite”. I just added the title so it may not be played like that.
