Re: My Favourite Irish Melodies

Davey’s second solo album was released as a CD by the German label Blue Bowl in 1998.

It’s a pleasant mix of songs and tunes on which Davey plays guitar, banjo, mandola and mandolin.

He’s joined by the following:
Leonard Barry - uilleann pipes;
Máire Brennan - harp;
Werner Lammerhirt - guitar;
Tommy Lannigan - bodhrán;
Anton McAuley - fiddle;
Brian McNeill - fddle, bouzouki and concertina;
Oliver Siegal - keyboards;
Bruno Staehelin - percussion;
Max van Gelder - accordion and whistles;
Hannes Wader - guitar and vocals;
and,
Terry Woods - mandolin and bouzouki.

Hmm, I’ve no idea how that message header came about.

Re: Cut to the Quick

The CD title is not quite correct, GW. I could have sworn I posted this CD here a couple of years ago, but apparently not. I did have it at one time, the title is "Cut To The Chase" [ Track #5 title ] - being the obsessive that I am, I scanned the insert and have just had a look at it to check.

Whoops, Kenny, that’s a Freudian slip on my part! I stand (and have) corrected.
