"The dance music of the Meath Pipers of the 19th and early 20th centuries.
Hugh Newman of Moyaugher, County Meath was regarded as the foremost authority on Irish music in County Meath. This album features the dance tunes associated with Hugh Newman, arranged and perfromed by Éanna Ó Cróinín. This is the repertoire of the Meath Pipers. This album shines a light on a once thriving tradition of Uilleann Piping in County Meath."

This is a great album whether you like flat sets or not. Great selection of tunes and lovely playing, his pipes are singing. I’ll be listening to this a lot for a long time and trying to put some of the articulation into my own playing.
