Oddities on Disc 1
1#2 Rogaire dubh: actually Connaughtman’s rambles
16 Polka gan ainm: sounds like a polkafied version of “My love is like a red, red rose”, hence the linkage.
19 Tripping upstairs: could not find this tune on The Session. Compare with Alan Ng’s sound samples at https://www.irishtune.info/tune/1975
27 Braes of Maas: check samples at https://www.irishtune.info/tune/1791
Disc 1: 18, 24; Disc 2: 8 All of the “Military band” marches on this album are the same tune, with different orchestration; not found on The Session.

Another oddity is the tune called “Pigeon on the Gate” on track 5; it’s certainly not the one we know. Does anyone know it? It’s lovely.
