Just recently pulled some boxes out of storage (for far too long) and lo filled with music. I put this tape on and turns out I’m a sentimental softy because the song "Kilkelly" Choked me up big time and tears were running down my beard. Dang. It’s not like I haven’t head the song numerous time in years past. Yet there I was not working. Afterwards I realized that for me at least the song did what it was probably created to do. And It worked. If you haven’t heard the song give it a listen. Try not to be cynical. Anyhow, I think its a well crafted song. Songwriter is Peter Jones.

I also like this disc, especially for the Ed Reavey memorial poem "The Plumber of the Hornpipes." Nice reminder that the spoken word always played a big role in the tradition as well.
