Milestone at the Garden - Any Fans?

I’ve bought quite a few of these CDs over the years, made up of remastered 78s of late great Irish music. Frankly, most of them have a few good tracks, and the rest are often hard work for me.

But I just discovered this one on Rounder (been out for a mere 8 years) and I think I’m having some kind of religious experience. No make that an ecstatic experience. Actually, I can hardly speak about it, I’m so moved (and that’s not like me.) The music seems to just vibrate right through my bones. The energy… the tone…

Track 3, identified as “Over the Lakes”, sounds like “Boyne Hunt” to me -- at least the first half of the track does.
