Tyneside Irish Centre

Not sure why this hasn’t been posted before. Maybe they like to keep it quiet!
Anyway, in the back bar of the Irish Centre, 8.30-11.00 sharp!
Same sort of musicians as the Cumberland on a Wednesday.

TIC

Still there, still in the back room. The requirment for being signed in has "lapsed" so you can walk straight through now. Tends to be quiet. Although many are Comhaltas members, the comhaltas night is monday, tends to be late starting - it might be best to check the arrangements with them

Re: Tyneside Irish Centre

I haven’t been to the TIC session for years but remember it as not very well disposed towards singers, I’m back in the N.E. for a while and hoping to get along, can someone tell me how singers are received at the session? Cheers.

Happily still going strong - traditional Irish session that always welcomes guests of all abilities and traditions. Kicks off between 8 and 8.30 most weeks, finishing just after 11pm. The core of regulars love meeting friends old and new!
