Olde Inn session
All levels welcome but not a "slow session". Friendly group
of "regulars" but we make sure that everyone gets an
opportunity to solo.

It’s not as charming as the Olde Inn but we had a good crowd for our first session there.
The Olde Inn Re-Opens!
The Olde Inn has reopened under the name O’Shea’s Olde Inn. This is a great place for music and old world charm. Sunday session starts at 7:00 p.m. and goes till it’s done.
This can be a very energetic session with some fine step dancers getting up a couple of times a night.

Updated Schedule
Wednesdays there is a learners session from about 7 until 8:30
Saturday is from 2:30 to 5:30 it can be song heavy depending on who shows up but there are always some lively tune sets. Also a fair amount of American fiddle tunes at this session.
Sunday is from 7 to 9 and is trad Irish.
Saturday afternoon Session
Really nice folks and friendly atmosphere. Less of a sportsbar atmosphere then I found in CT sessions, so less noisy. WAY guitar heavy so you really cannot hear the singer or the melody line players very well. In other sessions, guitar players like drummers take turns playing sets but here all guitars play which makes it a little lopsided in regards to musical balance. In a tune or song set, 1 guitar and 1 boudran is more than enough. Peppy tune speeds and nice selection of tune sets. It was nice to find an afternoon session. A well rounded selection of Celtic and American tune playing.
O’Shea’s Olde Inne
Mark Oien (fiddler) and yours truly Bill Black will be commencing a weekly session on Thursday evenings starting at 5 pm. All musicians welcome. Skill level 3 (out of 5) or above would be helpful. If you need written music, no problem. Idea is to use "chestnuts" as necessary to establish a comfort level, then move on to less familiar material (sources for which will be provided). Singers welcome but material must be Irish-related. We all love John Prine, Leonard Cohen, Tuli Kupferberg etc, (e.g.) but this won’t be the place for them. This will (we hope) develop into a pretty intense session so be ready to play! Feel free to contact me with any questions,
