Great session!

The Devaneys session is one of the best I’ve ever been to, hosted by Keri Zwicker on harp, Nathan McCavana on Bodhran and Lizzy Hoyt on fiddle, its a fantastic environment that is friendly to players of all levels but still features some of the best talents in Alberta on a regular basis. Usually goes from 5-8 with a break in the middle. Usually features a fair bit of singing as well.

Looks dead…

Based on what I’m observing on the Web, sessions here look unlikely. The name was spelled wrong in the original entry, which meant a bit of detective work. I’ve corrected the name and location of the pub, but have not yet determined conclusively there’s no session there—but there’s no evidence that there is one, either.

Name change for the pub

This place is now renamed Duggan’s Irish Pub. There used to be a session on sunday but I have not been to the sunday session since they change name. The actual address is: 9013-88 Avenue Edmonton.

In the link below, they mention that there is a "house Celtic Band paying on Sundays". I was at the sunday session before and it was great. I will try to find out how it is now.

No longer session at Duggan’s Irish pub or Devaney’s Irish pub

OK, Just to clarify, I called both places and neither have a jam session anymore or anything celtic for that matter. So Devaney’s at 11113-87 ave or Duggan’s at 9013-88 Ave do not have celtic jams anymore. So, might as well go to O’Byrne’s:
