Ri Seisiun sessions
Warm musician friendly pub on the banks of the Shannon in Co Roscommon. The pub is run by padraig lane, who is a trad music enthusiast and only wants trad in his pub!
Theres a Friday nite session, and a Sunday afternoon slot at present. The Sunday session runs from 2.30 to 6 pm, and it particularly welcomes young and improving musicians.
Leading Western and Midland based musicians who play there include Patsy Hanly,Peter Carberry,John Wynne,Angelina Carberry,Martin Quinn,Gerry Harrington,Noel Carberry,Oliver Loughlin,Padraig McGovern and others. Watch out for a tribute session to Peter Horan on 28th February
There’s also now a Saturday night session starting at 10pm (as does the Friday one). The Sunday afternoon session now kicks off around 3pm.
