The SAFE SESSION is back at new venue

In 2009 we started a session in the quiet Brooklyn neighborhood of Greenwood Heights. The name of the bar was Safe Haven and it tured out to be exactly that, a comfortable space where all musicians were welcome and encouraged to participate. The bar sadly closed early this year, and we found a good temporary home in Red Hook. The session was well supportedat at this location, but it proved to be too difficult a commute, especially for those without a car. I am happy to say that we have found a new location in the heart of Park Slope, a few minutes walk from the busy Atlantic Ave transportaion hub that I hope this will allow greater access to local and visting musicians who want to have a nice session in a friendly atmosphere. To remember the great beginings that we had at Safe Haven, we are branding this session as a "SAFE SESSION". Please see our various links to help promote and inform on the status of this session:

Is this session still happening? It looks like nothing has been updated since October 2012.
