Welcoming session for new and experienced sessioneers at Lisburn
This Wednesday evening session has been running since 2008. The Tap Room is a licensed restaurant offering extremely fine meals and their small bar features a choice of real ales and stouts from theor own brewery on draught, as well as a selection of fine European bottled beers.
The session anchors are Craig Ferguson (pipes), Conor Quinn (banjo) and Paddy Blee (fiddle) who are joined on an irregular basis by various fiddlers, fluters, accordion and mandolin players from the greater Lisburn and Belfast area.
The session musicians also take part in the annual Hilden Beer Festival each August.
Normally takes a break during January.
