The Errigle Inn… Re: The Errigal

It’s “The Errigle Inn” rather than the “Errigal”. It’s named after a townland in Monaghan rather than Mount Errigal in Donegal - according to https://errigle.com/about/ .

The Tuesday session now runs 9.30pm - 12 midnight. It is still hosted by Jason O’Rourke and attracts high quality musicans. Regular attendees include Tom Clarke (pipes and whistle) and Ciaran Kelly (mostly box).

There is no longer a session on Thursday

Re: The Errigle Inn

Hmmm … except there is no townland called ‘Errigle’ in County Monaghan, though there is a parish called Errigal Trough.

Good to hear it’s still going. I had friends who lived nearby and we’d visit the pub when I was working in Belfast.
