Session @ Hibernia Irish Tavern

1st & 3rd Sunday afternoons, 2:30 pm, musicians welcome

Schedule change

Second & fourth Mondays at 7:00 P.M. as well as first & third Sundays at 2:30 P.M.

There are no sessions on Mondays or any weekdays now. The sessions are now on Sunday afternoons.

These sessions are still going and are still starting around 1430 hours (otherwise known as 2:30 P.M.) every Sunday afternoon at the Hibernia Irish Tavern. The musicians usually play for two or three hours or longer.

Re: Hibernia Irish Tavern

The Hibernia Irish Tavern is in a shopping center which also has a lingerie store; a sports bar; a Halal Middle Eastern Market next to an Islamic restaurant; a Goodwill store; and a beauty shop where women who are obsessively worried about their appearance go to get their hair done.

Re: Hibernia Irish Tavern

According to the bar’s website the session now begins at 8.30pm every Sunday.

Re: Hibernia Irish Tavern

Zorro that time is incorrect. The local Sessions are still on Sunday afternoons starting at 1430 hours (otherwise known as 2:30 P.M.) instead of 2030 hours (otherwise known as 8:30 P.M.). Yes the local Sessions are still going strong and guest musicians are welcome to join us to play music with us.

Re: Hibernia Irish Tavern

You’d better tell the Tavern then, as its calendar still shows 8.30 pm on Sundays (and I do understand the 24-hour clock).

Re: Hibernia Irish Tavern

Vic Rubb the owner of Hibernia has been informed that the time for the Irish Session is wrong and needs to be changed (the time has been changed). As for the 24-hour clock, there seems to be a lot of uneducated and/or under-educated people (such as my ex-wife and her crazy sister) who have never heard of the 24-hour clock. They don’t understand it and don’t want to learn how to use it or understand it.
