The Snowgoose Cafe Wine Bar

A friendly weekly acoustic session that has been running since the Spring of 2011. All styles of traditional acoustic music are played. Fiddle players are joined by other musicians playing a variety of acoustic instruments.
English, Irish, Shetland and French Canadian tunes usually played every week. Ragtime tunes are also quite popular at this session.
Skill level is intermediate to high. Beginners are welcome to join in during the first part of the session and are given plenty of encouragement.
8.30pm - 11.30pm
Led by Peakfiddler.

A great session that still continues to thrive. Led by Peakfiddler and joined by musicians from other local bands.
Still an interesting variety of instrumental folk music played. New and returning musicians are always welcome.

Still going strong in 2015. 1st and 3rd Monday.

A very lively session attracting some great players, including some from local bands, Peakfolk, Albireo, Maplewood to name a few. Always a great standard of musicianship. Playing Irish, English, French Canadian, New England, Scottish etc.

The Snowgoose is closed every Monday and this session has finished

Great fun whilst it lasted. If I can find another suitable venue I will post the details on this website.
