The Celtic Tavern (Downtown)
Session is new since this spring - often play on the sidewalk outside outside when weather allows. All are welcome! High-intermediate/low-advanced session; mainly trad Irish, but a few breton & scottish tunes mixed in with an occassional (traditional) song. Session meets weekly, beginning at 4 pm (usually breaks up around/before 7 pm).
As the weather turns cooler, session has moved inside to the "ROBBIE BURNS" room - great venue!
Come join us inside the Celtic Tavern downtown at 4 pm Sundays for (the Robbie Burns room is in the back).
Too windy to play outside, but going strong in the front of the house!
Come join us every Sunday at 4 pm. Open, welcoming, & friendly session!
This session still on?
Going to be stuck in Denver on Sunday due to airline delays - anyone know if this session is still on, and if dancers are ever welcome?
Yup. still going strong. Dance away!
Going every sunday at 3 - 3:15, dancer welcome.

Re: The Celtic Tavern
I recorded the session if anyone wants an idea of a sample tune list. It’s in 3 parts and didn’t quite get the whole thing (and I got a little behind on getting tune names in for the later sets) but should give a good idea on what’s played. Also ignore that concertina player, it was pretty much his first time there, and was on a new instrument, and he didn’t know where his C# was…
