Governors Pub and Eatery

Session starts 8 PM. I stopped in about a month ago while on vacation and had a wonderful time.

The session has a definite leader, who starts every tune and rolls through many tunes in long medleys. Cape Breton repertoire is different from Irish, so I was able to play only about one tune out of five. But they were very welcoming and friendly, and they played brilliantly. I don’t believe I stopped smiling the entire evening.

As I said, it made the drive from Ohio worthwhile!
