How to get there

This session is still going strong. Jim McAuley on fiddle and Martin Shane on flute are the key regulars plus a couple more each of fiddle, flutes, accordians and sometimes a Harp.

The pub, an old country pub, is about half a mile from the M2 Sandyknowes roundabout. Take the A6 towards Antrim, it will be on your left after half a mile. If you reach the Chimney Corner Inn you gone too far.

Session starts 8:15 - 8:30 and goes on to Midnight.

Start’s About !

Re: Crown And Shamrock

It looks like the session is on Sunday nights now, 8pm.

Sunday Night Session

The Sunday Night Session kicks off just after 8pm.

All musicians are welcome no matter what level.

The Sunday Session was set up to accommodate adult learners who wanted to attend an open session where they could actively play at a slower pace and build up their playing speed alongside other learners.

With that in mind, the session tunes are normally played slower from 8pm to 9pm and then (as the drink takes over and Dutch courage flows) things speed up a little.
