we’ve been to this pub only once so far (16th January 2004) but it was very good indeed - lovely pub, friendly welcome, great acoustic, nice “buzz” to it………..the only drawback is that the parking nearby isn;t wonderful - but it’s bearable. if you need directions, you can call me at my shop (01795 590374) or e-mail andybanjo@aol.com.
it’s a fair bit more accessible than most of the other pubs we’ve tried over the last couple of years and (hopefully) will last long enough that other musicians will find us……………..

owing to a lack of research on the part of the person who organised this pub, it turns out to be a non-runner - the pub is prohibited by a bye-law from staging live music events. so it’s back to the itinerant session where nobody knows what’s going on from one week to the next.
if anyone is interested, they could ring me at my shop on a wednesday afternoon (01795 590374) - i should know that evening’s venue by then.
maybe i’ll just find a regular wednesday venue in london for my weekly fix of trad music…………………………
