The Gladstone

Not sure if the session is weekly, fortnightly, monthly or what.
Pub is presently threatened with demolition to make way for a residential tower block, since Southwark Council have received a planning application to demolish it, as I’ve mentioned in the discussions section: http://deserter.co.uk/2015/09/pubwatch-the-gladstone-arms/

The pub’s still alive, but no signs of a session.

Scottish session, been running just about a year now. First Thursday of the month, runs 8-10pm. I wouldn’t call it a good session for novices (it’s a fairly noisy place apart from anything else!) but it is welcoming and fun. Run by Ri, Essa, and/or Pete from time to time.

PS the map isn’t showing it quite right; it’s at the junction of Lant & Sanctuary Street.

Beware, the pub books rooms for payment, even though you have agreed to play, so you have nowhere to go.
