Sweetwater Grill & Tavern
An intermediate level Traditional Irish Music session on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month from 3-5 p.m. We meet at Sweetwater Grill & Tavern, 115 S Elm St., Denton, Texas 76201, (940) 484-2888. Participants must play traditional Irish music instruments: fiddle, whistle, Irish flute, bodhran, uilleann pipes, harp, concertina, guitar, banjo, bouzouki, button accordion, piano accordion, or hammered dulcimer. We draw much of our repertoire from the three tune books published by the O’Flaherty Irish Music Retreat, which are available in PDF at www.dallasslowsessions.com, and the set lists published by the Trinity Hall Session Players. The session is sponsored by the Texas Irish Music Education Society. For more information and to be added to the session mailing list, contact John Murphy at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Re: Agua Dulce
The location, schedule (second and fourth Saturdays, 3-5 p.m.), and contact info for the session leader are the same. The name of the restaurant changed from Sweetwater to Agua Dulce.
