McGonigal’s Pub

Sessions every other Wednesday, 7 to 9 or later. (Feel free to send me a note through thesession.org to confirm whether you’re inquiring about an on- or off-week.) Jigs, reels, polkas and hornpipes are common, and we typically have a healthy smattering of songs as well. McGonigal’s is a lovely pub/bar in an old bank building in the center of town in Barrington, Illinois. The clientele enjoy the music and the staff is very appreciative. McGonigal’s provides drinks and food for the musicians, and we split tips.
