Galway Bay Irish Restaurant And Pub

I’m not sure where the posting originated. I showed up today and there was no session. The hostess said there has not been a session for over a year.

Galway Bay has music 4-8 on Sunday, and recently has started a trad session on Wednesday evenings.

This is a lovely bar for a tidy tune. The staff is a bunch of heroes and legends, and the Guinness here flows like epic poems written in a lost language.

The session is run by Annapolitans, sometimes with special guests from Jupiter or someplace. The music is open to everybody; thoughtful playing is preferred. Singers are welcome, and there’s a bit of everything in the way of tunes.

The session starts at 8pm and goes for a couple hours.

Good to read this! Last time I was in Annapolis back in April there was nothing posted. I must have missed it! I may pop there tomorrow night
