Oasis Moroccan Restaurant

This is a weekly session, playing from 5:30 to about 9:00 pm. Intermediate or higher level players usually in attendance. Our session venue for the last 5 years closed its doors last Friday (3/19/2016), so we’ve had to move to this new venue. Great food, lovely hosts, and they do serve beer and wine. Come and join us!

San Luis Obispo Irish Session

The Central Coast Irish Session has moved again, for acoustic reasons … Only across the street, to the Old San Luis BBQ Co., at 670 Higuera St, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401 Great Central Coast BBQ. √ out their menu on their web site: http://oldsanluisbbq.com Our times have shifted to 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., as they close at 8:00 on Wednesdays. Intermediate or higher level players usually in attendance. Wandering ITM players are welcome!

Re: San Luis Obispo Irish Trad Music Session

Apparently, our association with the SLO BBQ Co has come to an end, and the Central Coast Irish Session is presently homeless. We will be playing in volunteered homes until we can find an appropriate venue. I will post as soon as that happens. Give Chris Scott a call at 805-325-3700 if you happen to to be coming into the SLO / Five Cities area on a Wednesday evening.

New venue

We seem to have found a new home for our San Luis Obispo Irish session. We are presently roosting at the 7Sisters Brewing Company, which just opened for business last September. It can be found at 181 Tank Farm Road, Suite 110 (behind the Doggie Spa), San Luis Obispo, CA. Their web site is: www.7SistersBrewing.com Tel. # is 805-868-7133. They have great beers and wonderful grilled cheese sandwiches on their menu board. Please stop in and join us for a few tunes. Playing level is usually intermediate and above. We play from 5:00 to 7:00 or 7:30 every Wednesday.

Re: 7 Sisters Brewing Company

This session is very welcoming to newcomers. I stopped in with my fiddle at the tail end of a road trip in March and had a wonderful time. Lovely, family-friendly atmosphere at 7Sisters and some pretty fine beer as well!
