Joan Mundy runs Comhaltas Melbourne sessions here on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month.

There’s a slow session on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday each month.

7:30pm – 10:00pm

Session lead by Joan Mundy 1st & 3rd Wednesdays Classes with Jackie Costello 2nd & 4th to keep everyone happy set dancing every Wednesday with Matt Harriage or Marie Brouder sing song nights on a 5th Wednesday these may vary when we have special events $6 for adults children free anyone welcome to come along watch /listen have a chat and tea

We have a lovely mix of friendly musicians & set dancers. plus many other events.
We have Sunday 11th February & Sunday 11th March dancing demonstrations at Queensbridge Square Southbank in the city Set Dance Ceili Saturday 17th February St Patrick’s Day, A family night Ceili 17th March A display at ”The Melbourne Irish Festival ” Sunday 18th March Set Dance Weekend with Pat Murphy from Tipperary Ireland ( this event is in Avondale Heights) 27th to 29th April ,
Comhaltas Melbourne in its 48th year since first founded to promote our Irish Culture of music song & dance in Melbourne is one of more than 400 Branches world wide since first founded in Mullingar Ireland 1951 Do go to. Comhaltas .ie (Ireland) to find out more.
We are not for profit all volunteer run and everyone is welcome .We have a 5 week break over Christmas /New Year now ready for Wednesday night’s ”We love visitors” Motto ” Music & Friendship ” Ceol agus Gaol”

Comhaltas Melbourne had a wonderful night on the 19th with Manus McGuire Fiddle Player from Co Sligo Ireland his Fiddle Masterclass Concert with Ballarat guitar player Geoff McArthur plus supper plus session to finish the last night for 2018.
