East Dulwich Tavern
This is the successor to the Beehive session that ran in Walworth, after we were ejected in favour of burgers and chips:

We run fortnightly and play (mostly) Scottish music. We aim to be beginner friendly and regularly teach tunes by ear from scratch, but we also get fairly up-tempo at times! I started off calling it a slow session, but it soon sped up…we have a good core of regulars and like to welcome new players and visitors.
The first regular session will take place Mon 29th May and then fortnightly thereafter (see below). We have a nominal starting time of 7pm. If you’d like help or advice or to have a go over tunes I’d recommend being there for seven.

The Facebook page mentioned on the Beehive page is more or less defunct as I’m no longer using Facebook, though it still exists.
Nearest station is East Dulwich (which runs direct to London Bridge) or Peckham Rye/Denmark Hill are 15 minutes walk. Buses 176, 484, 40, P13, 37, 42, 185 all run pretty close by.

Just a note to say tomorrow’s session will be in the function room upstairs, rather than the usual downstairs.

Unfortunately, we’re no longer able to use the East Dulwich Tavern. Enquiries are continuing as to a suitable future location; watch this space.
