The Boulder Irish Session continues to meet at License No. 1 in the Boulderado Hotel Sundays from 7-10 pm. Starting in November, 2018 the session will meet two Sundays a month. Please contact the hotel to see if there is a session on any given Sunday.

Re: License No. 1 Hotel Boulderado

In the new world of COVID-19, is this session still being held at the Boulderado? If so, any idea what Sundays this September it will be on? I’ll be on vacation in Boulder 9/6.

Re: License No. 1 Hotel Boulderado

The Hotel Boulderado has reopened it’s facilities, however the License #1 is limited and not open on Sundays yet. The session has a temporary home at the Avalon Ballroom, 6185 Arapahoe Rd, Boulder, CO 80303 from 6-10 p.m. Participants and guests are welcome to bring their own food and beverages, but are requested to take them upon leaving. Masks are required in this facility. If you are a player, you may remove your mask once inside the room as there is a performers’ exemption. Entrance is on the N.E. corner of the building and there is ample covered parking.

Re: License No. 1 Hotel Boulderado

What is the basic forum for the music performed? Is it strictly session tunes, or are songs sung at this particular gathering?

Please note an update to the Sunday Boulder Irish Session.
