The Crown and Anchor

This session has migrated from The Old Mill (now closed and much missed). It is a WEEKLY session.

The repertoire is very mixed, with tunes from many traditions (Welsh, Irish, English, French, Galician, Swedish, Bulgarian, Klezmer…), traditional and contemporary songs - anything is welcome, as long as it comes with mutual respect.

There are not many of us here that are dedicated to Irish music, but we are always keen to draw in others of our species. If you are thinking of dropping by, you can email me via my member profile and I’ll do my best to muster the troops. But if you’re more of an all-rounder, you’ll be equally welcome.

Re: The Crown And Anchor

Following the closure of The Stag in Llanidloes, which, until recently, hosted a Thursday session, The Crown and Anchor have kindly invited us to move the thursday session there. So it is now hosting sessions on Sunday *and* Thursday evenings. Starting 8.30pm.
