Fletcher’s

Tommy Fletcher’s pub is an iconic landmark pub in Naas that has been serving good Guinness and whiskey from the barrel for over 150 years. Pleasant atmosphere and perfect “back room” session area.

Weekly trad session going since November 2019 and already a strong following. Tuesday evenings, kicks off around 9:30PM.

Pretty strong group. Expect a lively pace and a solid selection of tunes and ballads. Open session, visitors and drop-in’s welcome.

Re: Fletcher’s

Still named in memory of our beloved John MacNamara who brought the core of this group together in Naas in 2017. https://www.itma.ie/latest/news/john-mac-namara-collection-2021

Strong, fast paced session led by accordion player Féilim MacDonnacha.

Session still very active (typical 8-12 musicians) and can run to 16+ some nights. Visitors always welcome. Some photos from recent (2022) times: https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjAbcL1

And from the weekend of the Liam Og O Flynn festival closing session - https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjAatEW
The sessions on Friday and Saturday of the Liam Og weekend (Oct 2022) were awesome but a bit overcrowded. Sunday evening back to business as usual.

While this is mainly a trad music session, we do have a few songs throughout the evening - so singers welcome.
