Dickson Hall (St Margaret of Scotland Episcopal Church)

Traditional Scottish, Irish and English Folk Music sessions at a slower pace. Ideal for beginner and intermediate players, but everyone wanting to play welcome!

Sheet music allowed. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere and without an audience and therefore beginner-friendly. Sets are pre-set around a week before the session by the two leaders. Suggestions for future tunes are always welcome!

Since November 2021 we have a new location: Dickson Hall, St Margaret of Scotland Episcopal Church, 27A Queen St, Tayport DD6 9JZ (parking on-street). The hall is behind the Church, the entry is after the small passageway left of the church.

The event is free but we would be grateful for a Β£2 contribution to lightening and heating of the hall if you can.

There is tea and coffee and you could even bring your own bottle if you are in the mood πŸ™‚

Sundays 5:00 - 7:00 PM once a month (usually the 3rd Sunday).

We usually have between 10 and 16 musicians coming together for each Slow Session.

For additional information, link to dropbox with music sheets, list of sets, tips for beginners: please contact the organiser Heike (heikegleser@yahoo.co.uk).
