I play the fiddle in the Beara region of Ireland. I read music, & often write tunes out if I can't find them on sites like yours!

Gougane Barra, Cork And Glen Of Aherlow, Tipperary

My only instrument will be my voice! One of my Irish language classmates and I will spend a week in the Múscraí Gaeltacht, soaking in the language and meeting up with our Irish instructor, Jane Ní Luasa, for an Irish class for us both and a sean-nós lesson for me. It will be the first time any of us will meet in person! We’re counting on Jane to point us in the direction of traditional music in the evenings, but glad for anyone’s input. Then up to my beloved Glen of Aherlow for a few days to visit friends and hike. Hopefully Covid will have settled down again by late spring.
