English wassail song.

This version comes from the Lea Nicholson LP, “Horsemusic” (on the UK Trailer label). On the record it was done in the key of C.

there is a great version of this on kate rusby’s sweet bells album. i think that its in c but i’m not sure.

I changed the ABC to read (easier) in 6/8 , with chords, but this doesn’t seem to have any effect to the sheet music jpg/gif.

A different tune from the one I learned in my schooldays.
I don’t do ABC, but here it is, in dot formation (the version I know)! Note the time sig change for the chorus.

Neither Lea Nicholson, ‘Horsemusic’, nor this tune show up under the ‘Recordings’ tab on this site. An unfortunate omission, surely?
