Bridgie Con Matt’s, X:3

If it is transposed to D, this setting is similar to X2. This was also collected by Pat Slattery but from J Brosna (Jack Brosnan?) in August 1975.
Johnny Leary recorded this slide as “Sleamhnán na Sróine” on The Trooper. In the book of his music it is called “Ned Connor’s Slide”, after his source, Ned Connor from Cordal. The Irish title might translate as The Slide of the Nose (?) or it might be related to the Shrone townlands near The Paps.
