This is a great tune, but our band is struggling with it - we are finding it hard to get the ‘texture’ and variations it needs.

Bromsberrow Heath Three Handed Reel

Here it is on Ashley Hutchings’ 1976 Rattlebone and Ploughjack LP that lifted the lid on the previously obscure traditions of Border Morris and East Anglian molly dancing.

How you play it will, as always, depend on the context.

Not available on Youtube

I heard this great slow reel on Hardcore English. But as far as Youtube is concened, and I quote:

"This video is no longer available because the YouTube account associated with this video has been terminated.
Sorry about that."

I’ll be happy to send this track, via email, played by "The Old Swan Band," replete with tuba and swing trumpet.

Lots of melodeon versions on youtube

There are plenty of recordings of the tune on youtube, e.g. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxO7dXysXyg

The Old Swan Band’s recording of it on Hardcore English is a beauty and hearing them play it at a ceilidh is an unforgettable experience.
