Proper key~

Proper Key is Bb, not G.
Try entering Gm or C Dorian in the abcs, and that should fix it before it goes to sheetmusic.

Different name

In Newton Tolman’s book “Quick Tunes and Good Times”, he calls this “Ladies’ Walpole Reel”, but that may be because there is a Walpole, New Hampshire (USA) near him. Fine tune. Glad you posted it. Tolman is an old pillar of New England Contra. There’s a session and dance in his hometown of Nelson, NH that has been going on continuously for more than two hundred years.
