Go Mauve

Written by Ian Luff of Blowzabella in 1990. The tune is available in ‘New Tunes for Dancing’ on Pg.31. The tune in the book is ever so slightly different from the setting I have given here.

This setting is how Blowzabella themselves played it - I transcribed it from audio from the playing on the Blowzabella album ‘Compilation’ but I believe the original recording was on ‘Vanilla’.

Blowzabella precede this with Jan Mijne Man in Am then Bm then into this.

Spotted all too late that Blowzabella themselves consider it to be a Schottische. But I couldnt change it once submitted…ho hum.
