Bill Hoare’s

This is a trancripition of a great tune from Cillian Vallely & Kevin Crawford’s "On Common Ground".
I just can’t stop listening to this recording and play the tunes in it, even though they play most of the time in keys such as C and F.

Bill Hoare’s, X:2

A nice setting of this same tune, learned from Alan Kelly.

Re: Bill Hoare’s

Recorded by Billy McComiskey on his "Makin’ The Rounds" recording, released in 1981. According to the sleeve notes :
"Bill Hoare is from Ballinasloe, Co. Galway. I met his son by chance in a pub in Athlone, and he taught me his father’s tune".
I have a transcription from several years ago made from the recording by Aberdeen-based flute player Malcolm Reavell. He has it as being played in "C".
