Great tunes. Didi Cronin is John’s father. John is still playing every Tuesday night in Wallis’ Bar in Midleton and sounding mighty. He’s got a great feel for the polkas and slides and a lovely manner. A true gentleman of Irish traditional music.
Thanks for the info Dceol. I’ll submit the 2nd polka later today. You wouldn’t have more accurate names for these by any chance? I suppose being polkas and a slide it’s doubtful.
This one John often plays as a slide and calls the slide Didi Cronin’s Favourite. People seem to agree with that name.
