From this set of tunes, Sally Ann’s Reels, by Alan Kelly, Steph Geremia, Tola Custy and Donagh Hennessey. I tried to find out more but the best I could do was find in a review that these are old time American tunes. Does anyone have any more info? Love the playing and the arrangements.

Sally Ann’s, X:2

Sally Ann is popular throughout Appalachia. It is closely related to "Sail Away Ladies" and has many variations with other titles as well. Best guess as to origins might be African American ("Old Time Kentucky Fiddle Tunes - by Jeff Todd Titon). The version I post here is a composite of the variations I’ve heard in Appalachia.
