Two comments

Malin Head

This is a slowish reel which I’ve named after the Scottish-Irish band who I heard playing it. It’s most likely a composition of one of the Hyde brothers from Edinburgh, - either flute-player Brendan or fiddler Kevin - who were the mainstay of "Malin Head" throughout the 1980s. I have a recording of the band playing this at the Islay Celtic Music Festival in 1989. I’ve finally got round to learning it, and thought I would share it at Christmas. A fine tune for flutes and whistles.
PS - they did record at least 1 cassette tape, but I don’t think this was on it - if anyone has the composer’s name for the tune, I’d be grateful.
