The first tune on track 11 of "The Factory Turn" by Damian O’Brien And Oliver Loughlin. A great tune that sounds modern. Anyone know anything about it?

Re: Gan Ainm

I’ve just received "The Factory Turn", and am listening to it just now. Very good it is too. I know this tune from somewhere - I’m thinking Finbarr Dwyer, or possibly Tommy Maguire. I’ll come back to this later.

I have a session tape - probably at least 15 years old - with James Cullinane and Dermot Byrne with that tune (slightly different version) and have been wondering for a long time what it is. A friend who learnt it from the same source (the tape) asked Dermot Byrne about it and he apparently suggested asking James Cullinane. That´s my input😉

Hi Tim - Happy New Year. Any chance of you appearing at Willie Week this year ? Haven’t tracked it down yet, but I’m also thinking maybe "Trian" - a’ the best, Kenny.

Re: Gan Ainm

Happy New Year to you too, Kenny. Don´t know about Willie Week - I´m always a late planner - you never know. I had a tape with Trian - that´s McComiskey and co. isn´t it? Don´t think it was on that but maybe they´ve done more than one? The only place I´ve heard it, is on that session tape, from whence it´s gained a small bit of footage here. Hope you´re well. Cheers -Tim
