I got this lovely hornpipe from box player Dieter Sieber who learnt it from the playing of Danny O’Mahonny and transformed it to abc
anyone know where this tune is from? (other than O’Mahoney’s album, that is😉
Got Danny o’Mahoney’s album recently, love a lot of stuff on it, but this in particular caught my ear, and I’m working out a pipey version of it, which I might post here later. But in the meantime, I have no idea where this tune comes from - his album is the only recording listed here. Did he write it? If not, anyone know who did?
