A good example (especially the youtube version above) of French trad influence on new English trad tunes.

Tune Title

Note - somehow in the moderation process the title of this tune got changed to “Suspended”. I have changed it back to “Suspended Slip Jig” because I am fairly sure that this is the correct full title.

When a tune is in a given category, such as ‘slip jig’, that is taken for granted. The same is true in the track listings, which does cause problems if the name is also used for other tune forms. But, that is the why, one of our webmaster Jeremy’s decisions…
