Clog de Lafond

This tune was composed by Canadian melodeon player, Alfred Montmarquette (1871-1944). He recorded it in 1930. You can find the recording at the virtual gramophone website: http://amicus.collectionscanada.gc.ca/gramophone-bin/Main/ItemDisplay?l=0&l_ef_l=-1&id=&v=1&lvl=1&coll=24&rt=1&itm=31394217&rsn=S_WWWcaaHTVpfe&all=1&dt=NW+|Montmarquette|+AND+|Alfred|+AND+|1871-1944|&spi=-&rp=1&v=1

I did this transcription from that recording. Note that he does not repeat the A or B section - just plays it straight through. Note also that he uses a different bass pattern in the B part, almost a polka sound.

I prefer it with a little swing added but Montmarquette plays it rather straight.
