By Calum MacCrimmon. Should be played as triplet measure.

And it’s a new / original tune. And an awesome one, too.

If this is a reel then I’m Barack Obama.

Thanks! I don’t know what other “category” it falls under. But I can change it, if anyone knows.

? ? ?

Weird! Maybe it’s just a bad transcription? It would be valuable, if you’ve a commercial recording with this on it, to add that to the ‘Recordings’ so it will link through to an audio source. As is, it’s not ~

M: 4/4
L: 1/8

& adding L: 1/16 doesn’t help any, but as you’ve intended it, avoiding M: 8/4 ~

& just in case this disappears, here’s that transcription with those headers changed ~

Not a bad tune but a bit derivative. I hear Maids of Mitchelstown in the 1st part and Dunmore Lasses in the 2nd.

Thanks Weejie for the link, so a bit of minimalist repetitive jazz then… 😀

It would be fun to step to…

A little soft shoe or sand dancing…
