“Mike Saunder’s Jig” ~ composed by Jerry Holland

~ for a great character, a damned fine fellow, one of our favourite guitar accompanists, and our original reason for going to Cape Breton Island and staying there ~ after we found out he’d left. Mike was that good that Jerry lured him over to Cape Breton with promises, but when Mike finally got there things didn’t fall into place, and with no prospects for an income, and with dear sweet Mimi being a long way off, Mike left - just before we arrived. We ended up staying a spell. Mike and Mimi are among our most prized memories, including for music and dance too, and that wonderful outdoor wood heated bath tub, sigh! You have been missed, meaning the tub of course. We must get our priorities right. 😉

“Mike Saunder’s Jig” ~ C: Jerry Holland - another transcription

I’ve also got this set of ABCs knocking around, and I’m not sure from where, but there are some differences.
