Causeway Sunsets

I think this might actually be a Schottische, but I thought that Barndance might be the closest here.

I actually composed this tune on my Nyckelharpa, but for the video below, I played it on my Nyckelharpa, Tenor Guitar, Mandolin & Tenor Banjo.

It was the first thing that came into my head, after I fitted new strings, sent over to me from Sweden, by the instrument’s maker Olle Plahn, hence the dedication in the video.

You should definitely give dear Tulough some credit for that first part. πŸ˜‰ It makes a lovely schottische, though I seem to find myself doing Northern European type things to it, including pivoting, and an urge to clap… πŸ˜€
