At the least add the album to the database so they link together. 😀

Sorry, I’ve only heard single tracks from the album- I heard it was only coming out later in the month. Will check

Isn’t this tune in 6/8, **kind of** jig??

Er … no. It’s not in 6/8 for a start.

I do believe it is in 3/4- however it is arguable that you could write some sections in 2/4- however the bright amongst you will be able to hear and work out where the accents lie…

There’s plenty of mixed meter tunes on site here to use for guidance, if needed, more often placed in either the slip jig or barndance categories. You can mix up bars of different time signatures, with little extra effort. Here are a couple of examples:

Smeceno Horo

To me, this tune, as well as the opening tune "The Belll", are both in 3/2. Although, this could be a 3/4 as well.

meter

Does it matter what meter you call it. It’s not trad, it’s pure funk

Funkadiddly-i-o! ~ as is the album… 😀

This tune is definitely in 12/8 with 3/4 on the drums. Regardless of metre though it grooves hard
