I hope this isn’t already here (I searched!). My source comes from a 1970’s recording by the American group, How to Change a Flat Tire, which they call, “Art O‘Keefe’s.” There is a similar version on the Mick Moloney/Robbie O’Connell album, “There Were Roses” - no doubt an easier recording to find - with the title here.

“Julia Clifford’s” ~ other possibilities

Art O’Keeffe’s

Track 1, 2nd tune on The Living Stream by Jackie Daly & Matt Cranitch

Art O’Keeffe’s Jig

I got this from a whistle & flute player called Deidre, she played it with The Humours of Lisheen. There seem to be other Art O’Keeffe’s up here but only slides. It may have another name but I don’t know it.

Re: Julia Clifford’s

Oops, looks like I doubled up, I didn’t know it was called Julia Clifford’s. Should I delete my version? It’s pretty much the same as the first.

Re: Julia Clifford’s

Nope, it has a few subtle differences.

Re: Julia Clifford’s

Cheers #NfldWhistler, I’ll keep it up 🙂

Re: Julia Clifford’s

There’s a three part version of this tune in O’Neill’s DMI.49 in Dmix, as The Hare in the Corn.
